hello, i wonder if anyone could help me..i'm knitting the shaun the sheep for a friend of mine,i'm an ok knitter(normanlly get my mum to help me but sadly she's in hospital) and i think the pattern may be wrong i'm on the leg and it says to ss 18 rows,i think this should be more as the sheep is going to have rather short legs!!..please can someone help me!!

Is it the old Patons leaflet that you are using? This design was based on the older version of Shaun the sheep that appeared with Wallace in the Wallace and Gromit films. He is therefore not based on the new Shaun that is on the BBC at present. I have knitted both versions and the older one does have shorter legs than the new kit version, but both instructions are correct as printed. Hope you enjoy him when he is finished.
